Bosnian Genocide Educational Trust uses survivor stories to create programmes that aim to challenge the perceptions of social justice, morality and human rights. These programmes allow more opportunity for deeper engagement and personal reflection for participants.

Making Peace: Schools Programmes

The Making Peace Schools Programme is a 5 week educational programme based on a book by the Making Peace Project, "Making Peace: A Refugee's Story"  about Smajo Beso's life in Bosnia during the war and his journey to the UK in 1994 as a 9 year old refugee.

The programme was developed in collaboration with Show Racism the Red Card and delivered by their highly skilled and experienced educational workers.

Making Peace: Bespoke Programmes

We can work closely with you to develop a bespoke programme that fits the themes and subjects you would like to explore such as racism, prejudice, hate-crime awareness, Islamophobia, and much more.

 

These programmes can be facilitated in a variety of settings including private organisations, local authorities, colleges, universities, Police departments, ambulance service and so on.
